Elect me as your District 4 County Supervisor and I will:
- Bring a strong, highly principled and effective voice to the Board of Supervisors that represents everyone.
- Transform the county into a well-managed, financially stable and resilient organization that is held accountable to its citizens.
- Accelerate a vibrant economy, assure safe, healthy and resilient communities and create a brighter future for Plumas County.
I have spent my career as a public servant, solving some of the toughest health, safety, economic and human issues facing Plumas County and California.
I married Quincy Native Thom Hall in 1999, when I followed him to Quincy from Hawaii. For nearly 20 years, he ran a small business, I had a county job, and we raised our 3 children here, happy to be a part of the community in countless ways.
In 2017, I took an opportunity in Yolo County, living away from the family during the week. It was hard on the family, but it allowed for a more secure future and a much more stable county organization with a culture of excellence and collaboration. The next year, Santa Cruz County recruited me. We moved the family so we could finally be together. Leaving Quincy was hard. However, my time in larger counties was also a blessing. I learned everything I could about good government, county administration, budgets, and providing excellent public service.
We are beyond happy to be back, because this is our home. I’m running for supervisor because I can get us back to a Plumas County where anyone can start a family, grow their business, have a career, retire and live the life they want to live. The current state of the county makes this out of reach for so many residents unless there is a change in leadership. I am running for supervisor because I want the kind of county we all deserve - a well-managed, financially stable and resilient organization that is accountable to its citizens.
